  4. Wow, stunning. No mention of the non 456 inbred 26″. Is there still gonna be one or am I going to have to buy the best bike in the world when the bonus comes?

  5. Congrats!

  6. I think that probably counts as a glowing review!

You need to get some lager can stickers made up for the back end of the bike :)

  7. Congratulations!

Can’t afford one but was thinking of buying a “normal” 456 to replace my very old, and now snapped, stiffee. Not sure about post box red though, I preferred the old blue. Would make me feel like a very small fire engine!

Maybe a “probably the best hardtail in the world” sticker for the rear “lager can” stays is required?

  9. Congratulations Brant!
Any plans on a sliding dropout version as a 26er rather than a 29er? Having had my SS inbred stolen I quite fancy replaing it with a SS Ti 456.

  10. ‘Maybe a “probably the best hardtail in the world” sticker for the rear “lager can” stays is required?’

Will the Ti 29er get the “Larger Can”?! I think the On-One wish-bone is one of the most distinctive, aesthetically stylish pieces of tube welding & geometry out there.

  11. Great review, shame I cannot afford one now (just moved to a new flat - skint). When will there be a SS 26″ Ti version?

    Comment by Kris Socha — April 2, 2008 @ 6:22 pm

  12. SS Ti 26 coming in a couple of months.

    Comment by Brant — April 3, 2008 @ 7:51 am

  13. Loving my Ti456 - def best hardtail i’ve ever ridden. It just floats over the rocks

Any idea when the planet x ti sportive is due?

    Comment by Rik — April 3, 2008 @ 7:17 pm

  14. Glad you like it Rik. Sportive’s are IN - we have a few frames in a few different graphic finishes which we shipped over for approval.

They should be going up on the Planet X site in the next day or so, as frame only and as complete bike packages.

  15. Ti Mary’s mmmmm….

    Comment by mart — April 4, 2008 @ 2:13 pm

  16. Well, I have ordered the blast option, thought it looked cleaner in design, but what is a splat? The character?

    Comment by 3rdsteve — April 5, 2008 @ 2:08 pm

  17. “Splat” is in the middle of “On One”. Look at the banner, top of the page.

    It’s Brant’s Nike Swoosh!

    Comment by Spence — April 5, 2008 @ 10:14 pm

  18. though someone did say it looked like a bumhole

    Comment by Brant — April 5, 2008 @ 11:30 pm

  19. That certainly gives “On One” a different meaning…

    Comment by Spence — April 6, 2008 @ 8:39 am

  20. It is a little bit Kona-esque.

    Comment by Jon — April 7, 2008 @ 12:09 am

  21. Any date for arrival of the first blast graphic frames Brant??

    Comment by Doog — April 10, 2008 @ 9:52 am

  22. Well done 10/10 … now just get him to sell it to me for less and I don’t mind the one ridden by the mags reviewers.
